- edwin11373: Definitely NMS should at least be nominated. I think NMS position is actually more unique than some others out there because there's a difference between an ongoing game which had no or minimal problems with the public and one which had a monumental disaster with the public but despite this, they continued against all odds, against all ridicules, death threats, even lawsuits, in order to atone itself. I actually suspect that this fighting spirit to make things right again is one reason why the hate has diminished. I have heard many times from "haters" that even tho they're still upset with Sean Murray, they do admire him for trying to fix the game instead of abandoning it like many studios would have done. I think that says a lot because there was a time when many wanted to see Sean Murray swinging at the gallows.

- Frank Moore: NMS absolutely deserves to be nominated. Since launch the game has changed twice with all the updates. And don't forget, they are an indie studio going against the big boys. Their small team has publish an incredible amount of content give their size.
- Scorch exe: Likely chance fortnite may win but I really want nms to win lol
- Bespeckled Cephalopod: Compared to the other nominees, it deserves it more than anyone else. Hello games has limited employees and has spent 2 years redeeming itself. That's effort and passion at its finest. After all they've been through, they deserve it.
- Nanael OverLock: Not even close. No Mans Sky is still far from a "Best Ongoing Game" award. But again, why is Warframe not in that list? Rainbow Six SIEGE is there.
- Callum: I think the main thing in the game that needs work is the terrain algorithm. Not just to vary more. But make stuff more natural. Rivers would be a good start. Also, proper deserts. More landmarks and ruins. Different types building other than just the ones with AI.
- Legacy Zero: WHAT. No Mans Sky was nominated by The Game Awards for "Best Ongoing Game". Is this deserved? Can it stand up against it's contenders?

- Dave Wilson: I voted for No Man's Sky not so much because I really think it deserves it (I actually haven't had a desire to load the game in a couple months), but because the other 4 games nominated are essentially the exact same game with different graphics. They're all shooters and the way you play one is essentially the way they're all played. No Man's Sky is something different completely. I just feel it's still really missing something to make it more engaging for me. Even after almost 2200 hours in the game.

- Peaceful Gamer: This may be a "shocker" but I do feel it is well deserved for HG to, at the very least, be recognized for their continued work on NMS. I don't think this should be limited to what has been done thus far but also what waits ahead. After 2+ years, Major Update after update, we are STILL told by HG in the Abyss Update that this is all just "our next small step along this journey, and there are more to follow". Unlike its fellow nominees, NMS has an entire Universe to play with which makes this Ongoing Journey so mysterious and exciting at the same time. It's not just releasing new outfits, weapons or emotes, it's about expanding the NMS universe in ways that we may not expect. However, even if we do know what's coming, I have always been pleasantly surprised by what we get. I like going underwater now! Go figure. Welcome back LZ!

- HardWarUK: It will never win. The Game Awards are fixed. Look at the titles nominated and the games not nominated - that will tell the whole story. The winners are the shows big advertiser publishers.
