No Mans Sky | Multiplayer - PVP Confirmed | Next Release Date | Reaction

For the first time in years, Sean Murray has gone public to announce that No Man's Sky Next is coming to Xbox One. Also confirming multiplayer and some sort of PVP. My thoughts on the whole thing

1. The Traveler: But it was a hopefully theory but now there is no need for a theory on release for ps4 and pc because it is stated in his blog that it will be July 24th for ps4 and pc as well as xbox
2. FatalFist: What we need are servers like DayZ and what not that allows people to setup and gather in quadrants of galaxies to team up and/or siege each other. No Man's Sky has a lot of potential to build a cult following and possibly give rise to a bustling in-game economy.

13. Mark Johnson: It is a Sentinel Walker. What mostly sparked discussions is the fact that everything looks more slick even tho the background video is literally the old E3 build planet ( maybe they are using that as template for testing new stuff ). But the difference is that particles are super sharp, very nice looking and amazingly cartoony just how they should be and the Sentinel Warps in with teleportation effect we never seen in any previews before, not to mention the trees are very obviously animated and the walking animation for the Sentinel is different and slower as he scans around, again never seen this before, which also never was the case even with old builds

18. piloctor15: Not so pumped for pvp guys, sometimes i just wanna be left the hell alone, i hope if a player attacks another player an army of sentinels go after them
19. Mark Johnson: If they will not get at least close to the E3 feel and magic of the game it had, Multiplayer is not gonna save it. I do not know how it is for other people but when i hear MP will help, i am like " Really now… and what will it help with? " the fact you will be sharing the same Universe without any additions, changes, improvements would simply be lacking so much, no matter how many people you would be able to play with. I play this game for its unique visuals, vibrant graphics and atmosphere from truly alien worlds and THAT is the main focus and always should be. MP is like type of code to always add to improve upon the connection in community, but the game itself benefits exactly 0% of anything from that. I always ask the same " Would you really wanna explore universe together when its still the same unfinished work? Or would you rather see amazing things and be constantly surprised, whether its a different shape of tree each time, different landscape, more personality to planets, logical formations creating immersive experience and truly living space? The true reason to share such places or stay there for ever and make people visit while they would have a REASON cause they go - holy shit this place looks like nothing i ever seen and ever will " i think the answer is obvious. It is simply, Multiplayer on its own will not do anything other than let you full fledge play with friends… but do you really wanna tell me every second player or fan of NMS cares about finding people and that is all they care about? Oh man i am sure not. Just look at the trailers all the way back, people were AMAZED by the visuals, the meaning of the game " TO EXPLORE " to see something you never seen… i do not care about some griefer trying to stalk me through alien planets even tho i know the chance to even meet a player unless you are trying is basically zero ( my own experience ) but still.
